Hello, my lovely Giggler!

I’m emailing to say THANK YOU. I’m so glad you’ve been reading Over the Top Secret and that, as far as I can tell, you’re LOVING it! This story has been in my head since I was 12 years old (I’m 28 as of writing this post… that’s almost HALF MY LIFE). It’s incredible to finally share these crazy characters and their wild adventure with you.

Also, I wanted to let you know that I recently had a change of heart. Remember when I said that I didn’t want to record audio chapters anymore because it was driving me crazy? And so I stopped? Well, I take it back.

Yes, recording audiobooks drives me crazy because the process is super lengthy and intensive and I get really antsy sitting at the computer for as long as it takes to edit and master the files (not to mention that the slower pace I need to read at in order for audio listeners’ brains to comprehend what I’m saying sends my own fast-paced Energizer Bunny brain into a frenzy), BUT… I really want this story to be available as an audiobook alongside the physical version. Plus, who better to voice Julie than the voice of Julie?! I’d like to stay true to my original offering as well, which was to provide paid subscribers with exclusive access to audio versions of every newsletter via The Giggler Podcast.

So that’s what I’m going to do. I’m bringing audio chapters back for paid subscribers! (I’ve already recorded a few and am actually loving it… I’ll post them once they’re mastered and ready for your ears.)

I’d love your feedback so that I can ensure the audio is top quality when it’s time to assemble the audiobook. (Please let me know if anything stands out to you in a distracting way. Do my character voices change over the course of the novel? Is the pacing too fast? Do I start speaking in gobbledygook halfway through?! You can also tell me if it totally rocks, too. 🤓)

THE GIGGLER has officially reached 100 subscribers! ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED, BABY! (Maybe we’ve even surpassed 100 by now, since I wrote this yesterday morning!)

What’s even cooler than seeing that perfectly satisfying “100” in my dashboard is knowing The Giggler reached this number because of YOU. Thank you so much for sharing this publication with your fellow goofball friends and family! It’s so fun building a community of Gigglers. Let’s see if we can reach 200!
