Kealoha is Healing 💖
An incredible update regarding my husbands fight against ALS!
New Subscribers: Welcome to The Giggler! We’re on a never-ending quest for amusement and unadulterated fun here. Sometimes in my newsletters, I share updates from my life as a voice actress and writer; other times, I share humorous short stories or my adventures in learning to draw. Today is an important update regarding my husband and his fight against ALS.
Thank you all for being here!
Hello, my amazing Gigglers,
Thank you so much for your patience while we’ve been navigating the next steps in Kealoha’s ALS journey. We have some exciting updates to share!
Before we get to that, we want to express our deepest gratitude to you. Thank you with all our love for your prayers, thoughts, and generous gifts toward Kealoha’s healing fund. We have been overwhelmed by your support and love. Every single gift has made a real impact. We’ve officially embarked on a groundbreaking treatment protocol, and we’re excited to share the process in the hopes it might help others facing this terrible disease.
But first…
I’M A WIFEY!!! 💍
Kealoha and I are married! We glossed over it in the last update, but behold— Kealoha is now my husband. I’m still getting used to saying that. Every time he calls me his wife, my stomach does a little backflip. Also... I have a new last name now, but I’m keeping it T.O.P.S.E.C.R.E.T. for now. Alexa Tuttle is my undercover spy identity. 🕵️♀️
Okay, back to our update:
After our wedding, Kealoha and I moved to Maui to be closer to his family and immerse ourselves in nature. I’m writing this on our lanai, listening to birds and flowing water with an ocean view and a soft breeze in my hair. The life force here is strong. We feel uplifted and nurtured by this island, and we are so, so grateful.
In our last newsletter, I shared that Kealoha was given the opportunity to begin a novel treatment for ALS. What’s happened since has been nothing short of a whirlwind.
We traveled to the clinic for an initial consultation, where they used a remarkable piece of technology called the Regenu3—a bioresonance feedback machine that scans the body using frequencies. Everything in this world has a unique frequency, from minerals to toxins to parasites. By reading how these frequencies run through the body, the machine identifies what’s going wrong and where. It’s extremely precise.
Through their work with ALS patients, this clinic has discovered that parasites in the brain and spine are a root cause. And sure enough, Kealoha tested positive for nearly every type of parasite! These weren’t just affecting his brain and spine, but also his liver and gallbladder.
(Side note: No wonder the carnivore diet was helping to slow the progression of Kealoha’s symptoms—It was starving the parasites of sugary fuel! Just my two cents...)
The clinic answered our many questions and took the time to devise a customized protocol for Kealoha, outlining a plan of attack which consists of three phases:
Phase 1: Determine the cause.
Phase 2: Remove the cause.
Phase 3: Regenerate.
With the diagnosis complete and a clear idea of what he was dealing with (freaking PARASITES!), Kealoha was ready for Phase 2: Remove the cause.
Phase 2: Remove the Cause
Kealoha immediately began an intense detox protocol outlined by the clinic. Our detox plan included liver and gallbladder flushes, anti-parasitic medications targeting the brain, steroids to calm inflammation from parasite die-off (which can cause serious symptoms like seizures), and a carefully designed supplement regimen to support mitochondrial and neurological repair.
The following three weeks were incredibly challenging for Kealoha and for all of us who love him. Watching someone you love go through such a difficult process is heart-wrenching. But even in the most challenging moments, there was a sense of hope, of a new beginning. This could be it. We’ve been handed a lifeline—not just for us, but for every person and family touched by ALS.
I’ve said it before, but I genuinely believe ALS does not have to be terminal. It’s my deeply held belief that if you remove the root cause of dis-ease and create space for healing, the human body is capable of extraordinary things. How could we ever hope to solve this deadly problem if we didn’t understand what was causing it? Connecting with a team that’s truly focused on identifying and eliminating root cause has been the most tremendous relief and the greatest gift.
Armed with this new knowledge and his relentless determination, nothing was going to knock Kealoha down now. Those first three weeks of detox were brutal, but we kept believing: Kealoha will beat this. And we will help others beat it, too. Kealoha pulled through like the champion he is—fighting not just for himself, but for everyone else battling this disease.
And then, after three weeks, a Regenu3 re-scan confirmed it: no more parasites.
Phase 3: Regeneration
With the cause now removed from the equation, Kealoha was finally ready to begin healing.
Just last week, Kealoha received his first IV infusion of 30 million umbilical cord blood-derived stem cells—cleansed of DNA/RNA and imprinted with intention for specific areas of his body—alongside a Myers cocktail.
Within 24 hours, we observed the following improvements: enhanced grip strength, improved posture, a steadier gait, and increased energy. Even Kealoha, cautious as ever, admitted he feels different.
A few days later came a wave of profound, bone-level exhaustion for Kealoha. It felt like a regression, as if the improvements had vanished. But this exhaustion, we learned, is a sign that significant healing is underway. As Kealoha’s body begins intense regeneration, fatigue is expected. He'll likely be extra tired for a few weeks. But even through the exhaustion, we can tell his foundation is strengthening.
We have two more stem cell infusions lined up as part of the remainder of this protocol. Kealoha can always undergo additional stem cell treatments if he wishes to.
Emotional Rollercoaster
It’s all happening so fast, it’s hard to put into words the emotional, mental, and physical shifts we’re experiencing. Just a few weeks ago, Kealoha was dying. Now, he’s healing.
The mental gymnastics of this transition are impossible to put into words. This has been a profoundly spiritual journey—stretching us in ways we never anticipated. Our relationship with each other has grown stronger. Our faith has deepened. I feel like an entirely different person from the woman who began this daunting expedition alongside Kealoha. And Kealoha—he’s shown all of us a level of mental fortitude even greater than we knew was possible (and we already knew he was the toughest guy alive!).
This is one of the greatest, most meaningful adventures of our lives. There’s no going back. Only forward.
We believe it’s only a matter of time before Kealoha isn’t just walking and talking like himself again, but surfing, hiking, living, not to mention one day chasing after our future babies. I see it so clearly. I always have. I didn’t know how we’d get there, but I knew God would lead the way. It truly feels like we are exactly where we need to be.
Thank you for standing with us on this journey. We are endlessly grateful for your continued prayers, love, and support.

They created a custom ALS protocol tailored specifically for Kealoha and have been in constant communication with us, checking in, adjusting dosages and tweaking supplements as we go. They truly care about their patients and we feel it in every interaction with them.
We’re incredibly grateful to the Stem Cell Sports Institute of Southern California for doing what so many so-called “experts” haven’t: asking why ALS happens—and treating the root cause. Kealoha and I are filled with hope, not just for his healing, but for every person and family facing ALS.
We’ll continue to share updates as Kealoha moves forward. If you know someone who is dealing with ALS, please pass this information along and reach out to the Stem Cell Sports Institute of Southern California. Kealoha and I are also here for you.
With love,
Alexa (aka Mrs. Kealoha 😉)
